The hotel is situated directly in the historical, downtown (altstadt) of Stralsund. A three minute walk to the harbour and the new ozeaneum, where daily ferry service is available to the natural and automobile-free island of Hiddensee. You can also see from the harbour the largest and most beautiful Island of Rügen. Rügendamm is also in view along with the new bridge. Just a short walk from the hotel is the Sea Museum (Meeresmueseum). The historical downtown offers an interesting view of North Germany architecture and history. All of which is in walking distance.
