Parking in a World Heritage City is becoming increasingly a bit difficult. We show you where and how you can park cheaply!

It is best to come to the reception desk, where you can unload your luggage. There are two loading zones in the reception area, which you can use for loading and unloading with a check-in/check-out sign (available at the reception desk). Alternatively, you can drive straight to the “Am OZEANEUM” parking garage at Holzstraße 1, 18439 Stralsund, and park there. Take a normal parking ticket to enter, and once you have found a parking space, take this ticket to the exit. There are three machines there. Hold your ticket under the barcode reader and a menu will appear. Select “UMCODIEREN” (recode). Select the number of days and pay for the ticket on the spot. You can then use the ticket to enter and exit the car park. Alternatively, the automatic license plate recognition system will recognize your license plate and open the barrier automatically during the validity period. This means you only pay €8 per day instead of €13.

For electric cars, there are two charging stations directly on the street in front of the hotel. Motorcycle parking spaces can be found at the harbor and at "Neuer Markt", or you can usually park in the parking garage at the Ozeaneum.
